Well thats another season over. We now retire to our country house, stock up the fire and rest, ( I wish!!!)

The year is 1642, troubles are in the land, strife in London, the fens are being drained. Come and hear the gossip, the local trained bands are drilling and see if life carry on with this background?
JULY
1st Musuem of Power, just outside of Maldon,Essex (off B1018)
Its 1667, The King is back on the throne, London is recovering from the Plague and the Great Fire. Plans for its re-build are in motion but Charles it is romoured it taking the Essex Aires does that mean he might be visiting Maldon, some members of his court are here with the advance team of solidery and maybe one of his ladies come over and find out.
AUGUST:
4/5 Forty Hall, Enfield. Its 1607, the adventuers are planing trade visits to the colonies in the Americias, come and see how the planning and sponsorship takes place during the persecution of the Purtians by James Stuart.
18/19 Ingatestone Hall, Ingatestone, Essex
The year of the Lord 1667, Members of the Court visit the home of Lord Petrie during the summer to enjoy the peace of Essex, why not come over and enjoy it well, maybe the King qnd Nell wiull visit?

9/10 September: Waltham Abbey - Royal Gunpowder Mills
Its 1667 and the King wants to ensure that the powder used by his powerful navy and army is good so visits the site the ensure this is so. Maybe this gunpowder was used durin the Dutch wars ?
Charles loved his scientific works maybe he is here and will enjoy a display of firing come over and find out
